Velta Admine
Table tennis, born in Latvia, came to Canada in 1951 participated in track and field and volleyball but became notable in table tennis. In 1962 won the Canadian single women's championship and made the canadian national team 10 times. She represented Canada in 1963, 1965 and 1967 in world championship tournaments.
