Viktors has directed the building and landscape design of several of the firm's key civic projects that have been recognized as models for a new form of hybrid public building. The designs for the Whitchurch-Stouffville Community Centre, the Vellore Village Joint Complex in Vaughan and the Niagara Falls Community Centre all display a complex interconnection of separate civic user groups brought together in one new public building type.
Within the office, Viktors has been responsible for the development of new forms of digital communication to allow project clients to be directly connected to the development
of their project. MJMA has developed an expertise in digital imaging, three-dimensional modeling and animation that makes the design process accessible in public and client discussions.
The firm was awarded the Canadian Architect 2000 Art of CAD award for expertise in Computer Aided Design modeling.
