Janis Kravis
Janis Kravis was born in Riga, Latvia on October 20, 1935. He obtained a B. Arch. degree at the University of Toronto in 1959 and worked as an architect and interior & industrial designer.
He founded Janis Kravis Consultants Ltd. in 1963 operating an architectural consultancy practice as its president.
Janis established Karelia Studio ltd 1959 and Karelia International 1969, opening stores in Vancouver 1973 and Toronto 1975.
